Josie was preceded in death by her parents: Harrison Taylor Terry and Lula Goodwin Terry, and her spouse Carl Oglesby. Her children: Carl Oglesby and Lisa Marie Pearson , and her siblings: Frank Terry, Jack Terry, and Gene Terry.
She is survived by her children; Jerry Oglesby (Sarah), and Brett Oglesby (Renee). A host of beautiful grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at West Blocton church of God Smith Hill, Smith Hill Rd, West Blocton, AL 35184, US, on May 11, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on May 11, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Green Pond Presbyterian Church, West Blocton, West Blocton, AL 35184, US, on May 11, 2026.
