We just found out today about his passing. Mr. L.C. was our exterminator for almost 20 years. He was ALWAYS so upbeat and friendly! We’ll miss his phone calls and visits. He was such a hard worker and always had advice to give. He had a huge personality. We’ll certainly miss him in so many ways. There will never be another “Mr. L.C.” May he Rest In Peace.

L. C. was my "Bug Man" for nearly 25 years.  He was here as my children grew up and left home and when we took care of our parents.  He always was willing to work around my night shift schedule. He was always encouraging and had advice to give. My cat who did not like anyone else, adored him.  I always enjoyed sitting down with him at the dining room table when he would write out my receipt.  This was the time we would swap stories about our families and current events. He loved his family so much. His passion was doing things for others. I miss him very much. Prayers for his family.  Such a big heart always leaves a big hole.

I worked with LC for just a few short years and he made a big impact on my life. Always helping others and doing it with a smile. Never came in with a bad attitude. My prayers are with his family and loved ones that I’m sure are missing him dearly. ❤️

Some of my fondest memories of him were when he would take us to places like the sawmill or to the train park where we would spend almost the whole day walking or just sitting out and eating.There are so many memories I have of him and yet none of them bad,and that is because he was able to make everyone's day better and bring everyone together and even though he is gone we all have nothing but good memories of him and the happiness he gave us.

There are so many memories that I have that there isn't one that is my favorite because each one was special to me. I love how he taught me so much and loved me and everyone so unconditionally. He always listened and gave great advice.  I love our phone calls, we would talk 3ot 5 times a week almost every week. His phone calls he would make to us kids on birthdays or just anyway being silly was awesome.

I love you daddy and will and do miss you more than you will ever know.

I have so many good memories of grandpa that I will cherish. I remember running to give him hugs and no matter how old I got the hugs were always my favorite. I loved riding on the tractor or the old red truck to feed the cows or helping him with the fences and I would give anything to do it all over again. He was always there to help or give advice and I will always remember that.  I love you so much Grandpa and I can't wait to see you again.❤️

I remember he loved animals, including his cows, before he sold them anyway. He had a calf that used to follow him around like a puppy. One of my favorite memories was watching him get tackled by the calf and it lick him in the face, which was gross, but wholesome.

My pop pop was the best man I ever knew. I remember going to the farm and helping him feed the cows and garden. He always took me for rides on the tractor and gave me  his hat to wear when the gnats would get bad. He always made fun of me wearing shorts or blue jeans with holes in them and told me “them briars gonna tear you up”. He always told me how proud he was of me and when I started cheer he told me to be careful because it hurts your joints. He called me princess and always made sure I was safe. He taught me how to ride a bike, fix the brakes on one, check the oil in my car, build a bird and dog house, plant a fence post, garden, mow the grass, and so much more. I have so many memories with him that I will cherish forever!!! I’ll miss him dearly and I know he is watching over me always 💗

Today we said goodbye to my father in law (dad.) I was blessed with 27yrs of guidance, love,patience from him. Although I’m at a loss for words, I know you are in a better place.  You  always saw the good in people and didn’t meet a stranger. Thanks for being my dad being my dad passed when u was 15. I am great-full you got to go to the beach with us !  I will miss you   I love you ! I’ll see you in heaven!!# COVID sucks. 

I will always remember going down to grandpas and him immediately telling dad “let’s get to work” as soon as we pulled up. I would usually run off inside or to the swing so I wouldn’t have to help because I’m lazy (haha).  Grandpa was such a hardworking man, but also a softie. I’ll never forget him hugging me with tears in his eyes and telling me how proud he was of me. That moment has impacted my life ever since. I will always cherish the moments spent with grandpa. 

I love you grandpa!!! I hope I continue to make you proud!

I will always remember my daddy for his hard work ethic. The days of working with him at Dailey and James Hardware. Also the grass cutting and cleaning business we had as a family and the time we shared during this time. I will be forever grateful for the sacrifices he made on Friday nights at football games parking cars and helping in the concession stand. He didn’t go on vacation so we could go on band trips and field trips. The days of camping at Wind Creek and Payne Lake were so much fun!!!! Miss you  ❤️

 My most fond memory is shelling peas ,digging potatoes and him teaching me to drive his truck. He was always teaching us skills he made sure we needed to know. He was the most hard working man I’ve ever met. 

I cannot just name one memory of my grandpa there are so many. LC Lemley was a such a selfless man he taught me so many skills that I will cherish for the rest of my life. The things he taught me and his leadership has molded me into the man I am today and I will carry those things throughout my life and one day teach my children and grandchildren. 

You will be missed grandpa, I love you. 

My favorite memory of my grandpa was when we took him to the beach. He had the time of his life. We went on one of the dolphin cruises and the whole time he was smiling from ear to ear. He loved that he got to spend time with his grand kids, his son and his daughter in-law. 

Dad always told me: Give your employer an honest days work and you’ll never have to worry about having a job.

I remember helping dad do a side job and he told me to remember where the wires went so that we could put them back. He really didn’t need my help, he just wanted me to feel like I was helping. WHAT A GREAT EXAMPLE YOU WERE DAD!
