Mary Gail Price, age 73, of Woodstock, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. Mary was born June 7, 1949 to Hubert Lee Hopkins and Mary Bell Herring and raised in Greenwood, Alabama. She and her husband, Bobby Joe Price, owned and operated B. J.'s Ornamental Iron in Lipscomb for over 30 years, until she retired to take care of him. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her father; sons, Tommy Joe Price and Bobby Joe Edward Price; and brothers, Arnold Hopkins and Adrian Hopkins. She is survived by her mother, Mary Bell Edwards; daughters, Mary Jo Dodd (Jim) and Robin Stevens (Jonathan); four grandchildren, Michael Dodd, Tony Dodd, Lily Price and Cody Price (Destiny); five great-grandchildren, Audrianna Price, Grayson Stevens, Mackenzie Stevens, John Dodd and Tommy Price; sister, Sandra Chason (Clay); sister-in-law, Annette Hopkins; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Casual attire is preferred.
Mary will be laid to rest in Johntown Cemetery, 5201 Vance Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184-3116.
