Minnie Ruth Edmonds, age 90, of West Blocton, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Joe W. Edmonds Jr.; five sisters, Elizabeth Scroggins, Frances Aigles, Jean Weber, Syble Dunkling, Delores Weller and parents, Othel Alanso and Willie Pearl 'Hayes' Thompson. She is survived by two daughters, Jewel Dean Earnest of Folkston, GA, Sally Jo Edmonds of West Blocton, AL; one brother, James Thompson, Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren, Amanda Webb (James); James Earnest (April), Briannan Burns (Cody); five great grandchildren, Elise Earnest, Zack Walker, Aiyana Johnson, Dakota Webb and Knox Jenkins.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Caffee Cemetery with Rev. Ray Jones presiding.
