Mr. Hewitt entered into rest at Hospice of West Alabama on May 16, 2014 at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his wife, Etta Lee Perry Hewitt and his parents, Robert D. Hewitt, Sr. and Zelda Walker Hewitt.
