Mr. Tommy Richard Jenkins

TOMMY RICHARD JENKINS, age 80 of Brent, Alabama passed away on August 20, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama. He was born in Choctaw County, Alabama on March 2, 1944, the son of the late Lawson Jenkins and Vinnie Lee Turner Jenkins Todd.

He is survived by: Wife, Lula Bell Jenkins; Daughter, Donna (Robert) Elam; Daughter, Charlotte (Johnny) Ingram; Sister, Faye Busby; Brother, David Jenkins; Brother, Bobby Jenkins; Brother, Buddy Jenkins; Granddaughter, Krista (Garrett) Mattix; Granddaughter, Leslie (Ty) Rawlinson; Granddaughter, Kristy LaGrone; Grandson, Keith LaGrone; 10 Great Grandchildren: Beau; Caden; Brayden; Aiden; Zayden; Hayden; Audrey; Sam; Jaxon; and Houston.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Lawson Jenkins; Mother, Vinnie Lee Turner Jenkins Todd; Step Father Junior Todd; Brother, LJ Jenkins; and Sister, Lillie Mae Lawrence.

Pallbearers are: Robert Elam; Garrett Mattix; Ty Rawlinson; Larry Watkins; Ricky Kinard; Phillip Averette; Rickey Watkins and Eugene Averette.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm from Pondville Baptist Church in Brent, AL with Bro. David Grishom and Bro. Bryan LaGrone officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will take place at Pondville Cemetery in Brent, AL following the funeral service.
