Alyssa Anne Gould

Alyssa Anne Gould passed away unexpectedly in a tragic event on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the age of 22. She was the cherished daughter of Chad Gould and Rachel Faust Schulz. Step-daughter of Kenny Schulz. Devoted sister of Alaina Gould, K.J. Schulz, Soleil Clayton, Olivia Schulz (Tyler), Kaitlyn Schulz and Emma Schulz. Dedicated granddaughter of Etta Gould and the late Ronnie Gould; Thais Faust and the late Terry Faust. Caring aunt of Asher Schulz. Affectionate niece of Ronda Gould Prestwood, Clayton Prestwood, Ryan Faust, Jessica Faust, Nathan Faust and Leslie Welb. Cousin of Amanda, Noah, Madi, Tristan, Amelia and Darion. Alyssa is also survived and fondly remembered by many relatives and dear friends.

Alyssa was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where she enjoyed a career with Max Homes. She truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures of hanging out with her friends, taking trips, reading and cheerleading at Chalmette High School. She was always optimistic, enthusiastic, charismatic, well-loved and affectionately known for her good nature, generous heart and her preciously silly laugh. She was always the first to reach out to bring people together. She will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunt who loved her friends and treasured her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, April 13th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Alyssa’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
