

Anna Aceste Miserendino passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born in Sicily, Italy. She came to America on her own at only 20 years old. Soon after, met the love of her life, Giovanni, and spent the next 61 years together starting a family and building a wonderful life together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Giovanni, her parents Salvatore Aceste and Lucia Donato Aceste, grandchild Joseph Miserendino, Jr., and son-in-law Louis Carollo.
Loving mother of Joseph Miserendino (Shelby), Giovanni Miserendino (Lisa), Luciano Miserendino (Stephanie), and Maria Carollo Theriot (Raymond). Proud grandmother of Maria C. Nunez (Jeremy), Louis Carollo (Loren), Christine Miserendino, Luciano Miserendino Jr. (Kathleen), Jenna Miserendino, and Teresa C. Quintana (Joshua). Proud great-grandmother of Jeremy Nunez, Jr., Jacob Carollo, Sophia Miserendino, and Camila Quintana.
A devoted servant of God, Anna’s life was a testament to her deep faith, her love for family, and her passion for serving others.
Anna enjoyed tending to her garden with her late husband, Giovanni, sewing, cross-stitching, cooking, baking bread, and baking her well known fig cookies for holidays and St. Joseph’s Altar. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing many of her life stories and teachings of her faith.
She was laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Funeral services were private.
