Brad Allen Assevedo

He was the beloved son of Roxane Morales Assevedo and the late Richard J. Assevedo Jr. Loving father of Skyler Wilson and Sadie Corley. Brother of Richie Assevedo. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives, dear friends and especially his beloved puppy, Shiloh.

Brad was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He lived a life deeply intertwined with the waters he loved so much. He dedicated his career to commercial fishing, a pursuit that allowed him to embrace his passion for being on the water. He was known for his selflessness, loyalty and his ability to bring joy to those around him. His practical jokes and big laughter were always on display when he was around his family and friends. Brad leaves behind wonderful memories and a legacy of kindness, humor and dedication. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CEMETERY, 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA on Friday, September 27, 2024 beginning at 10:00AM.
