Chris Frank Ianni

Chris Frank Ianni, of St. Bernard Parish, passed away on 20 August 2021. He was 69 years old. Chris is survived by his son, Chris Anthony Ianni, and by his granddaughters, 24-year-old Carlie Rose Ianni, 7-year-old Julia Josephine Ianni, and 5-year-old Lillian Margret Ianni. Chris is preceded in death by his parents, the late Frank and Aglogia “Tiny” Ianni, and his brother, the late Pascal Ianni.

Chris was born in New Orleans to Frank and Aglogia Ianni on 18 November 1951. He went to grade school in Arabi and High School in Chalmette. He worked at Domino Sugar refinery, holding a multitude of positions, and retired after 30 years.

Everyone that had the pleasure and blessing of knowing Chris knew he was an avid pool player in and around St. Bernard Parish, that he volunteered for several Mardi Gras organizations, and that he loved to sing karaoke; Mack the Knife and What a Wonderful World being his two favorite songs to sing. I Love You Pops and Miss you Terribly!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in his memory at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, in New Orleans.
