She was preceeded in her death by her husband Clyde Mayeux, her parents William Aurthur Faulkner and Mary Green Faulkner and 5 siblings and survived by 2 sisters and a brother.
She is also survived by her three children Barry, Natalie (Brian), and Mark (Kim), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Delena was raised in Bardstown, KY where she attended Bethlehem High School and earned a teaching degree from Nazareth College. She taught school in Kentucky and then moved to Meraux after marrying and taught 3rd and 4th grade at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School in Chalmette Louisiana.
She was a Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Prompt Succor Churches.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Chalmette, LA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday February 28, 2023. There will be visitation at the Church prior to the mass from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM.
