Eddie Jonathon Viada

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward "Lil Eddie" Jonathon Viada Sr., age 33, a loving father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Lil Eddie passed away on February 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and joy that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His love for his children knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his children, Alyssa Viada, Edward Viada Jr., and his unborn daughter; his parents, Edward Viada III (Misty Lancaster) and Andree Robert (Ronnie); his siblings, Brittney Briere, Alicia Viada, Alexis Viada, Kaylynn Robert, Chase Robert, Andrew Viada, Brianna Pittman, Ameris Pittman, Bailey Robert, Skylar Viada, Madalyn Viada and Braydyn Viada; his grandparents, Edward Jr. & Christine Viada and Esther Wood. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Wood Sr.

His family was his anchor, and he took immense pride in being part of such a strong, loving network of relatives. He loved playing basketball and spending time on the court with friends. His love for adventure was also evident in his love for riding motorcycles. Though his time with us was far too short, Lil Eddie made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He had a generous spirit, a contagious laugh, and a heart full of kindness. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

All those whose lives Lil Eddie has touched are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A funeral will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
