

Franklin D. Bianchini Sr., age 74, entered eternal peace on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 4:30 PM. Born August 4, 1940 in Foster’s Canal, Plaquemine, LA. Beloved husband of Rosemary Bradley Bianchini for 56 years. Son of the late Ernest Bianchini Sr. and Nora Dunne Bianchini. Beloved father of Kim B. Sellars (Charlie), Lynn B. Chouest (Farrell), Bridget B. Navo (Melvin), Franklin D. Bianchini Jr. (Marybeth). Beloved grandfather of Tiffany Martinez, Kaylee Martinez Dean (Danny), Rebecca Sellars Gaubert (Blane), Charles ‘Robby’ Sellars, Rachel N. Fonseca (Brian), Megan Navo, Cory Bianchini, Ashley Bianchini, Amy Weaver and Gavin Lossett. Beloved great grandfather of Dakota, Rocio and Emma Dean, Elise Renee Gaubert, Mikayla and Landon Fonseca. Brother of Doris Wolfe, Esther B. Binder (the late Lester), Henry Bianchini (Jan), Aline Bianchini, Sunny Walley (Allen) and the late Ernest Bianchini (Doris). He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Franklin was a Past Master and Treasurer of Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge #428, Arabi, LA. He was also a Member of Dominque You Lodge #468, the Order of Knights Templar Commandery, 32 Degree Mason with the New Orleans Scottish Rite Bodies. A Past Commander of Indivsible Friends Chapter 1 and Past Grand Master and Lecturer for the 15 Masonic District, State of Louisiana. Franklin was a retired sheet metal mechanic, Local Union 11, Metairie, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A Masonic Service will follow. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
