Beautiful, sweet, funny, caring, gentle, kind!I loved to listen to him speak. When I was a little girl, and my Uncle Butch would come to Donaldsonville and it was such an occasion! My MawMaw would make the gravy, my PawPaw would cut his hair, he and my Daddy were best buds. We would walk to Rossi's and he bought me a gorgeous bride paper doll book one time! He and his wife Judy lived in Chalmette on Campagna forever....40 years or more. After Katrina they moved to an apt. in Daphne, Alabama and there they stayed. Grateful for staying close to each other thru the years. The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand, the sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land, the music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains…for every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Prayers for Judy.

One of my favorite memories of George goes back to our time at Ford Motor Credit. I was assigned to a new desk and quickly found myself needing assistance. When I finally discussed it with George he said, we need to have a "mini meeting". He explained everything in a manner that only a caring mentor could. This quickly put me at ease and gave me confidence moving forward. George had many "mini meetings" with myself and others in the office. In recent years we have had many laughs over "mini meetings", the term became part of our greeting. Rest In Peace my friend your grandest meeting is at hand.
You and your family are in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with George during the early 80’s at Ford Motor Credit. His kindness and gentle demeanor was unmatched. I’m thankful that our paths crossed. Even after rekindling our friendship thru social media...I witnessed no change in his character.
THANKS GEORGE 🙏🏿
