Gladys Mae Dauth, a lifetime resident of St. Bernard Parish, passed away at the age of 91 on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Henry L. Dauth; parents, Lela Harwell Couty and Louis Joseph Couty; brothers, Curtis Louis Couty and Leo Louis Couty. She is survived by her nieces, Julee Alexander and Lisa Couty-Lorio, and nephew Christopher J. Couty, Sr.
Gladys dearly loved spending time with family and celebrating every season of life. She enjoyed traveling all over the Country with friends. She loved gardening and could make anything grow and flourish. Gladys lived life to the fullest with joy and shared that joy with everyone she met. She was well loved and will be missed by us all.
Pallbearers: Daniel Alexander, Nathanael Alexander, Caleb Alexander, Benjamin Alexander, Stephen Alexander and Phillip Lorio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 10th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service in Gladys’ memory beginning at 11:00AM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
