Ivy Charles Robichaux, Sr. passed away peacefully with his family at his side on December 12, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1924, and was 101 years of age. Mr. Robichaux was born in New Orleans and was a longtime resident of Chalmette.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley M. Shall Robichaux for 74 years. Devoted and loving father of Shirley Maher, Edna Johanson, Mary Reed, Christine Potter, Ivy Charles Robichaux, Jr., Joseph Robichaux, Danny Robichaux, and the late Michael Robichaux. Son of the late Clarence and Edna Robichaux. Proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
