Joseph Marco Gebbia

On November 20th God called a great man to heaven. Joseph Marco Gebbia was surrounded by his loving wife of 48 years, his beloved children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandsons and granddaughter at the time of his passing. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Glynn Gebbia, his son Ronnie Admiral Gebbia, his daughter Lisa Gebbia King, his son-in-law Joseph Anthony King, his daughter-in-law Barbara Orr-Gebbia, his grandsons Andrew Joseph King and Admiral Jonathan Gebbia, his granddaughter Amanda Ann King and great grandchild Laiken King. Joe was preceded by his parents Samuel Paul Gebbia and Rosella Catita Gebbia and his sister Lucille Gebbia Knecht. Joe is retired from the Navy and Lockheed Martin. He was a member of the St. Ben’s Supper Club, Golden Opportunity Club, Friend of PAC Club and member of Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge No. 428 in Arabi. He was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and a friend of many, who loved his country and treasured his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Rd, Covington, LA on Monday, November 23rd from 9:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Joseph’s memory beginning at 11:00AM. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
