Lawrence Peter Cummins

Lawrence Peter "Larry" Cummins passed peacefully on January 29, 2021 at his home with his family nearby after battling liver bile duct cancer. He was 66 years old. Beloved husband of Bridget Cummins for 37 years and father of Christen Cummins, David Cummins (Jenni), Jeremy Cummins (Lauren) and Stephanie Duzac (Brandon). Grandfather of Addilyn Duzac and Aubrey Cummins. He was Uncle Larry to a host of nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Brother of Joe Cummins(Priscilla) Preceded in death by Joseph A and Ruth Hindelang Cummins, he graduated from St Dominic and De La Salle High School. He was top mechanic at Marshall Bros Lincoln Mercury for 20 years and operated LPC Productions since 1999. His skill at mixing music and staging events from school fairs to big time festivals earned him a great deal of respect among musicians and producers everywhere around the gulf south. A self taught and highly certified auto mechanic, Larry could fix anything including delicious meals. He was an avid fisherman often joining friends and family anywhere there is water. His warm and friendly personality with a smile on his face made him welcome wherever he went. His pain is over, the sadness rushes in to be replaced with love and good memories as the angels sing. Graveside services will be held at the Cummins family plot in St Patrick Cemetery #2 and a Celebration of Life / Jam Session will be held in the summer.
