Lowrance Calhoune Thompson

Lowrance “Tommy” Calhoune Thompson passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Lucille Thompson. Loving father of Dianna Marie Thompson Barbe and the late Rance Allen Thompson. Son of the late Mickey Lee Thompson and Mattie Jay Sones Thompson. Brother of Earnestine Slie, Dorothy Adamson, Diane Riley, Mickey Leon Thompson, Barney Thompson, Kennith Thompson and the late Christine Bradford. Proud grandfather of Amanda Hotard. Step grandfather of Mandy, David and Christopher. Great grandfather Lorelei Hotard and LeClaire Hotard. Step great grandfather of Alex, Audrey, Kaithlynn, Davie, Chris and Peyton.

Lowrance was born on January 3, 1932 in Pervas, MS and was a current resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was a proud US Army Veteran and a member of the Shriners. In his free time he enjoyed making picture frames. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
