Mabel Morales Campo

Mabel Morales Campo, age 93, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Frank “Blackie” Campo. Mother of Frank “FJ” Campo (Rose), Kenneth Campo (Belle), and the late Mary Ellen Campo. Daughter of the late Phillipine and Pasqual Morales. Sister of the late Francis Camors (Hill); Phillip Morales (Olivia); Morris Morales; Lana Gallardo (Johnny); Louise Serigne (Joseph); Emma Campo (Richard) and Pasqual Morales (Shawn). Sister-in-law of Elaine Morales. Also survived by grandchildren; Eric Campo (Anne), Michael Campo (Sherry), Robert Campo (Stacy), Kathy Lemoine (Rodney), Kimberly Schweitzer (Clint), Kenneth Campo, Jr. (Tanya), Christine Wattigney (Michael), Jacqueline Roberts (Harvey), Dawn Robin, Leslie Fernandez (Eddy), 32 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Dear friend of Michael and Susan Hannemann. Special thanks to Concerned Care and Canon Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and on Monday from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital preferred.
