Pat was the loving mother of Danny Giovingo (Christine), Bonnie Held (Chet), Deborah Dendy, Lisa Harrison (Mark), and the late Donna Marie Giovingo. Grandmother of Danny, Jr., Nicholas (Lacie), Brad (Keely), Johnny (Haleigh), Michael (Ali), Tommy (Mollie), Mark, Erik, Victoria (Jason), and seven great-grandchildren, Isabella, Layla, Meredith, Maci, Colston, Connor, and Wyatt. She was the sister of Barbara Thompson. Preceded in death by her parents, the late Rose Gomez Callaway and Albert Callaway, and by her brother, the late David Callaway.
Pat was a resident of Lacombe for the last 16 years, but was a 30 year resident of St. Bernard Parish before Hurricane Katrina. The family would like to extend a debt of gratitude to her granddaughter-in-law, Lacie Giovingo, for the unwavering love and care she selflessly showed our mother in her final years.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay final respects and share fond memories of Pat, on July 10, 2021, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
