Melody Boudreaux Bergeron

Melody Catherine Boudreaux Bergeron passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Bergeron. Loving mother of Kimberly Bergeron (Nathaniel), Melissa Bergeron (Steve), Melinda Randalson (Brad), and Michelle Chauppetta (Brian). Daughter of the late Ernest Boudreaux and Rita Foss Boudreaux. Sister of Rita Mae Kimball (Skip), Jody Boudreaux (Laura), and the late Ernest Boudreaux, Jr. (Rose), Paul Boudreaux (Lisa), and Richard Boudreaux. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Melody was born in New Orleans, LA, and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Everyone she knew and loved knew the true meaning of unconditional love when it came to her. To be caring and compassionate was something that she exuded day in and day out. Her social and outgoing nature helped to create beautiful friendships along the way. She will always be remembered for her caring and loving spirit, loyalty, and dedication to her family, as well as her laughter and beautiful smile. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest privately.
