Paul "Bobby" Robert Duxworth

Paul "Bobby" Robert Duxworth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the age of 62. Bobby was the loving husband of his “Queen” Bridget McGrath Duxworth. Devoted father of his “Princess” Paula Theresa Duxworth. Son of the late Joseph Robert Duxworth Sr. and Victoria Delma Chautin Duxworth. Brother of Laura Duxworth, Geraldine Duxworth and the late Joseph Robert Duxworth Jr. Uncle of Eve Duxworth Pfeffer (Chris), Joseph Duxworth III and Ashley Duxworth (Sean DeBram). Great uncle of Aubry Pfeffer, Sean DeBram Jr. and Bella DeBram. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives and dear friends, especially his fur-babies Pretty Girl and Lottie.

Bobby was born May 13, 1959 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Slidell, LA. He was the proud owner of Duxworth Roofing & Sheet Metal for many years. His fondness for riding his Harley was surpassed only by his love of deer hunting and fishing with his friends. He found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. Bobby will always be remembered for his loyalty and dedication to his family, his generous and loving spirit, his laughter, and spoiling his princess, Paula. He was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, June 29th from 9:30AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Bobby’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
