Robert J. Roy Sr. passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 80. He was the cherished husband of the late Margaret Jeanette Hebert Roy. Loving father of Robert J. Roy Jr. and Cindy Hanks Roy, Gregory A. Roy, Jan Roy Bailey Martin and James Rick Martin. Proud grandfather of Michael Patrick Bailey, Scott Andrew Bailey, and Johnathan James Roy. Robert was a United States Air Force Veteran and proudly served his country during the Korean War. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
