Sidney J. Anderson, Jr. passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:25 PM. Age 82. Beloved husband of Catherine Burckel Anderson for 60 years. Father of Donna A. Habighorst (Salvador M.), Sidney J. Anderson, III and the late Terry J. Anderson. Brother of the late Emma Dielschnieder, Eunice Walker, Harold J., J.P. and Leland Anderson. Grandfather of Alexander M. and Matthew S. Habighorst, Sidney J. IV (Melissa) and Danielle Anderson, and Sandy Lotz (Justin). Great grandfather of Sidney J. Anderson V, Chalotte Giovanni, Justin E., Landon J. and , Alyssa Lotz. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Relatives and friends, also members of CWA Union and Audubon Society, employees of AT&T Lucent Technologies are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to Notre Dame Hospice preferred.
