Susan Pintado Landry

Susan Pintado Landry passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the age of 73. Susan was preceded in death by her parents Bruno Pintado & Ida Doyle Pintado; her sisters Carol Poole (Jimmy) & Patricia Trapani (Paul). Also preceded in death by her beloved infant son Michael Keith Landry and her 2 grandchildren Drew Vincent & Charli Ann deAlminana.

She is survived by her 3 loving children Ryan deAlminana (Kelli), Jessica Brown (Jordan) and Steven Landry. Susan was a loving Grammy to her 5 wonderful grandchildren Drake, Demi, Ali, Emma and Luci. She is also survived by her sister Gail Ainsworth (Dean) and her brother Eddie Pintado. She is also fondly remembered and loved by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and so many friends.

Susan was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and spent her youth growing up in the Irish Channel. She attended St. Alphonsus and graduated from Redemptorist High School. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and cared deeply for her family and friends. Nothing surpassed Susan’s love for spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her joy and happiness. She was well loved and affectionately known for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter and generous heart. She was a profound joy to be around and we will deeply miss her warm presence in our lives. Rest in peace, dear Susan. Your love, laughter and so many wonderful memories will remain in our hearts until we meet again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, 2320 Paris Rd, Chalmette, LA on Friday, May 16th from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00AM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
