Susan Dannaples Neumann, age 64 years, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA. Loving mother of Angela Neumann-Aguilar (Damien Aguilar). Beloved companion of Gordon Austin. Daughter of the late Charles Raymond Dannaples and Dorothy Kiefer Dannaples. Sister of Judy D. Quick (Henry L. Quick, Jr.) and Nancy D. Gomez (Timothy White). Aunt of Kelly Q. Timmreck (Michael), Randy M. Quick (Holly), and Kris M. Gomez (Lori). Godmother of Nicole D. Nicosia (Perry) and Kelly Q. Timmreck. Also survived by her granddogs, Nitro Christian and Hunter Michael and also a host of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Wayne A. Neumann. Susan was a graduate of Annunciation High School of New Orleans in 1969 and was a retired Ship to Shore Operator for South Central Bell. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
