Mr. Billy was our next door neighbor when I was growing up on Gallo Drive. I’ll never forget the sea of light up figurines across his front lawn during Christmas or the life size nativity scene he would build every year. Underneath it was the best spot on the block for games of hide and seek! 
You don’t realize when you’re living in it how special a neighborhood is - especially when you’re a kid, but some of the fondest memories of my childhood come from Gallo Drive and Mr. Billy was such a big part of that.
I’m sorry to hear that such a great neighbor and friend has gone way too soon. Sending all my love and prayers to Mr. Billy’s family and friends who loved him.

I was very sad to hear that Billy had passed away.  We were neighbors in Chalmette on Gallo Drive.  He was a wonderful neighbor and helped me many times over those years.  Billy was a good friend to all of us.   His house was often the center of activity there on Gallo.  He loved Christmas and always was the first to mega-decorate his house as well as the whole block.  New Year's eves were full of booming fireworks displays centered at his house.  His enthusiasm was contagious, and everyone joined in on the fun he provided.  Even though I haven't seen Billy in ages, I'll miss him.  The world is a sadder place because he's gone.  My sincere condolences to his family.

I was in shock as I heard of this yesterday when my sister Janice called me.  Billy was our next door neighbor when he was 12 years old years ago. I grew up with him and knew the family.  I am still in shock. Prayers for the family, I will never forget Billy.

Billy, I have nothing but the best memories,  laughs and stories with you alongwith a few others. You taught me so much on this short time you had with us. You smile was infectious, your laughs unmistakable and quick wit just made you the best to be around.  Always the best person to be around.  Father to manny, Mentor to the lucky and Friend to all. Truly a spectacular person inside and out.  Can't wait to see you again man. Love from your Addopted son 🤣🤣🤣. I'll miss you Whiskers 

Billy was an amazing man. He served as a mentor at work to me and often gave advice on life outside of work. We shared our love for long haired golden doxies. He always enjoyed my carpool karaoke. He always told me I should sing solo… so low that no one would hear me. His smile, witty one liner jokes, and overall presence will certainly be missed. 

Hey Billy, My brother in, Christ our lord and savior, You didn't have any fear in your work. Where you climbed the tallest cranes, And you didn't have any fear in your faith. When you decided that. Jesus would be the one who would give you strength to do all things. And decided to marry and spend the rest of your life here on earth, with a Godly woman. TreSea Walker and pray with her and feel Gods presence and power daily through prayer. That decision has given you a blessed life and, I'm compelled to say a blessed eternal life, Thank you Jesus for preparing that place for us, That where you are we shall be also. your wife, TreSea and all of us who love our lord and savior will continue to be a light to shine bright in this world through your power, lord, Now and forever amen. 

May God comfort the family of our fellow co-worker, Billy Walker.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

William's presence was felt every time his wife (TreSea) spoke his name. He will truly be missed.  He made everyday a honeymoon  for her and their love was such a blessing to all of us.  (Song of Solomon 5:16 This is my beloved, and this is my friend.)

I grew up with Billy and we were neighbors until I left for college.   I have so many memories of things we did together growing up.  I am so sad to hear that he has left this life.  My prayers are with this family.
