Barbara Lee Lockbaum (Frank), 73, born February 12, 1945 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 29, 2018 at Fox Subacute in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Fred K. and Flora B. Galbraith Frank.
She was a 1963 graduate of Chambersburg High School. After high school, she continued school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, but found her true calling as a bus driver for the Chambersburg School District, where she worked for 38 years, starting August 30, 1973 and retired January 17, 2011.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert W. Lockbaum of 54 years, whom she married on April 18, 1964; granddaughter, Danielle Renee Haines and her husband, Brian; grandson, Corey Hege; 3 great-grandsons: Dallas, Luke and Michael Haines; brothers: Ed Frank, and his wife, Sharon and Gary Frank, and his wife, Mary; sisters: Bev Neuder and her husband, Erie, Brenda Frank and her husband, Bill Pitman, Nancy Herr and her husband, Joe, and Penny Saunders and her husband, Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie Hege (Lockbaum) in 2016.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her 3 great grandsons. She loved to watch TV and chat on the phone; she loved animals of all kinds.
