Anthony Quinn Jones

Anthony graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Phoenix. He worked for American Express for 30 years and the Arizona State Fair for 35 years. Anthony married Jill Irene Thurston in 2006. Together they welcomed their son Markus into their life in 2014.

He loved scuba diving, riding motorcycles, camping, travelling, and beating on his drums. Anthony was infamous for his barbeques for his family and friends.

Anthony is survived by his wife: Jill; son: Markus; sister: Gwenne'e; nephews: AnTjuan (Chelsea), Aundre'e; niece: Zonnyshia; great-nieces: Sora Rhae'e and Alene; mother in law: Mary Thurston; sister in law: Kelly Bearce; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in passing by his parents: Elvin and Lucinda Jones.

A celebration of life for Anthony will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248. Following the celebration of life will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona.
