Benjamin Ray Dillon, 79, passed away after a short battle with cancer on June 10, 2025. Born in Eden, NC to John and Virgie Dillon. Ben served in the Army as an SR5 Sergeant and retired from the State of Arizona Department of Economic Security. Survived by his daughter Stephanie (Jason), brothers Alfred and Alvis, granddaughter Antha, and many nieces and nephews. Succeeded in death by his loving wife Christine, son John, parents, and brothers Gerald, Dwaine, and Calvin.
Visitation will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, June 16, 2025, 4pm to 6pm. Graveside funeral will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery on June 17, 2025, at 9am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the charity of your choice in Ben’s name.
