I was close with Chase, he was so kind and loving, always spreading positivity. His smile was contagious. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

During this extraordinary difficult time, your family has been tremendously gracious and strong! Nothing I can say or do will heal your pain, but I want you to know that I will be here for you! Your son was amazing, and I am so blessed to have had him in our lives!  Mateo is a better person for knowing Chase, and I know he will carry Chase's legacy on!  I love you Carolynn, Antone, and Carson!  Our families are changed forever.

All my love and prayers since Mexico to his familly, i met Chase on Hands Across the Border 2014, and he was really such a nice and kind soul, the kind of people that you don't forget, because they inspire you to be like they are. A couple of days before this, i was thinking about a reunion with everyone, and of course i was thinking that he would be there, he would make us laugh or be together just as he knew it, i know we didn't get to know each other so much, but he was a friend for me and i'm pretty sure i was one for him too.

My family's thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time, We met Chase one time when him and Mateo met up with my daughter Lily at The Main Event, and he made a great First impression on me and my husband...he was a great kid. He will be truly missed by many.

I just heard of this Tragedy while on shift at Ahwatukee Urgent Care.  I am at a loss for words upon hearing the loss of this Great Young Man.  His family is known to many of our staff here who had the pleasure getting to know him.  This is a huge loss of a young man with a bright future ahead of him. My daughter is an 8th grader at Akimel MS and was on the Student Council there with Chase. He was a great friend, school leader, and an example of how we wish all of our children to live. His speech for next year's incoming Freshman at DVHS in February was both very well written and very well delivered, leaving many people in the audience in awe that he could be so eloquent and invested, yet only half way through his freshman year. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. We cannot begin to imagine your grief. We offer you our deepest condolences, and as only passing acquaintances we quietly honor a bright light who brought a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and to help, wherever he went. He is greatly missed by his friends at Akimel A-al.
