Darius Amonte Daron Curry

Born on August 14, 1994, in Bloomington, Illinois, Darius was the beloved son of Anitra Curry and Chris Neal. From an early age, Darius exuded warmth, strength, and a spirit that touched everyone he encountered. His presence lit up every room, and his kindness and loyalty left a lasting imprint on those privileged to know him.

Darius was a good father, a cherished son and grandson, a protective brother, a loving cousin, and a loyal friend. He lived with purpose and heart, always putting family first. His memory will forever be carried on in the hearts of his children, Jaidon and Nova, his mother Anitra, his grandmothers, Joyce and Ophelia Neal, his grandfathers Ron Curry and Clem Luster, his brothers Dantez and Ladaneon and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply.

Darius’s life, though far too short, was full of love, laughter, and meaning. He will be remembered for his big heart, his contagious smile, his love of music and dance and the unwavering support he gave to those he loved.

Service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 4pm at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery at 10940 E Chandler Heights Road Chandler, AZ 85248.
