Deborah Gail Browder, 64, of Chandler, Arizona went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018. Deborah was born on January 18, 1954 in Fort Ord, California. She was the third of five children born to William and Shirley Young. Debbie graduated from Washington High School where she was on the swim team. Debbie met the love of her life, Charles Browder, at church in Glendale, Arizona. They fell in love and were married April 26, 1975. Soon thereafter, their first child, Charles Wesley, III, was born in 1976. Their second child, Rebekah Kaye, was born in 1979. Debbie stayed at home with the kids until they were in school. She worked at the school and church and later started her career in banking and ultimately became a manager. One of her notable physical achievements was completing a half marathon with her daughter on her 55th birthday. She had to retire from her career in 2011 due to illness. Debbie was a faithful member of her church and enjoyed singing in the choir and helping with Sunday school.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Debbie felt her love. She was adored by her friends, co-workers, and family. Debbie had a servant’s heart and enjoyed giving her time and resources to help others. While she enjoyed dining out, traveling, and shopping, her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy. Her happy place was with her husband and grandkids by her side. While her life here on earth was taken too soon, her legacy will go on forever. She was a true example of what the humility of love looks like. Although her body failed her in the end, her heart of gold continues to shine.
She is survived by her husband, two children, five grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister.
We will celebrate her life on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. There will be a service and reception at Desert Springs Church, 19620 S. McQueen Road, Chandler, Arizona.
