Ernie was my older cousin. We all grew up in old Italian family love. He was a gentle man who wouldn’t hurt a fly. He was a viet nam disabled veteran with a loving wife. I am going to miss him. Rest In Peace. I love you

Ernie was like a second father/grandfather to me. He could always bring me up when I was down, telling jokes and doing his accents and just being silly whenever it was needed. He was such a positive influence not only to me but to all he came in contact with. Even filling his vehicle with gas he'd stop and chat with folks like they were old friends and by the time they finished they were just that, friends.

He advised my wife Kim and I and taught us many things. We helped him out whenever needed and he did the same. We worked on his house in Bowdon and he worked on our house in Carrington... always having a great time and lots of fun. It was always such a pleasure to spend time with him. When helping them to move to Arizona I saw this time and time again. That trip was hard but it was so much fun.

He loved to make cookies and would alway share. Now we make them at our coffee shop here in town. I think from now on we'll call them Ernie's cookies in his honor.

He will be sorely missed but we know he's still here watching over us. I look forward to when we can see him again on the other side.

To his wife, please give us a call when you can as we'd love to chat with you having missed your call the other day. Pray you are doing okay.

I loved Ernie so much. He and Laura were the first 2 people we met when we moved to AZ 5 years ago. We became very close friends. Ernie you were the kindest and friendliest person I have ever met. Hugs all around for everyone. You knew not a stranger. I will miss you so much. Rest In Peace , my friend.
