

Favyola Alexa Vasquez, 12, passed peacefully at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ on November 24, 2010. After successfully overcoming her battle with Leukemia, she unfortunately succumbed to an overpowering infection that laid her to rest.
She was born May 16, 1998, in Tempe, Arizona, she is the daughter of Guillermo Vasquez and Alexandra Silva.
She is survived by five siblings: Athena, Christopher, Leticia, Evelyn and Isabel.
Her paternal grandparents are Trinidad Vasquez and Maria Figueroa; and maternal grandparents, Jose Silva Avalos and Rosa Chavez De Silva.
Favyola gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. During her twelve short years here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music, playing dress up, swimming, going to the movie theatre, making bracelets, and above all making others laugh. She was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed.
Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel was called by our Lord.
Viewing will be held on Monday evening, November 29, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ 85248.
Chapel services will be held on Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 West Galveston St., Chandler, AZ 85225.
Interment will follow chapel services at Valley of the Sun Funeral Home & Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
