Freda Krithis

Freda Krithis, age 88, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born the seventh of nine children on June 7, 1933 in Canonsburg, PA to Nick and Dorothea Pihiou. On July 13, 1952, she married Steve Krithis who preceded her in death in 2016. Their 63 year marriage together took them from Washington DC to Chicago, Il; Los Angeles, CA; and finally in 2003 to Chandler, AZ.

Freda rarely sat still, loving to be active in the sun and with a knack for great cooking and warm hospitality would often be found planning her next gathering for family and friends. She also loved animals and made friends with any dog, cat, bird or other furry friend that crossed her path.

Freda is survived by her daughters Elaine Sicich, Doreen Kotsovolos, and Anna Marie(Parker) Krithis; her grandson Nick (Shelby) Kotsovolos; her great grandson Theo Kotsovolos; her sister Marsha and brother George and her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Steve, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Chris, Bill, Sam, Tony and Anthony; her sister, Stella; and her sons-in law Michael Sicich and Greg Kotsovolos.
