Gary Gauthier

Gary was born on November 14, 1953, to Charles and Mae Margaret (Campbell) Gauthier in Tucson. He graduated from Rincon High School in 1971. On November 7, 1992, Gary married Jean Weiler in Mesa.

Gary liked being on his tablet, watching the girls do their hair, since he didn't have any; and was curious about their make-up routines. He also liked dragging his wife along to the store to look at electronics they would rarely buy. Daily he would compare the height of himself and his son, in which Nick eventually surpassed him. The family will always remember dinners with Gary where they would always tell jokes and do puzzles from the newspaper.

Survivors include his wife, Jean of Chandler; daughters, Melissa Schademann of Tempe, Amy Gauthier of Chandler; son, Nick Gauthier of Chandler; brother Greg Gauthier; nephew Mike Gauthier, his wife Stephanie and their 3 girls.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Chuck Gauthier, mother Marge Gauthier; and brother George Gauthier.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 22, at Desert Cross Lutheran Church, 8600 S McClintock Dr, Tempe, AZ 85284 at 2pm.
