Gerald Eugene Bryson Sr. 87, a Detroit, Michigan native and retired Postal Manager died on January 7, 2021. Gerald was born on May 30th, 1932 in Detroit Michigan to James Bryson and Eva Smith-Bryson. He was an avid golfer and skier. Gerald has many affiliations including the Desert Mashies Golf Club of Arizona and Jim Dandy Ski club of Detroit. Upon moving to Sun Lakes, Arizona he developed a passion for growing roses. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years Naomi Bryson and his son Gerald Eugene Bryson Jr. and many relatives and friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery. Due to the unprecedented circumstances presented by COVID-19 a celebration of life in Arizona is pending. We plan to have a memorial in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan in August 2021. The specific date will be announced later.
