

Jane M Bowling passed away peacefully on December 14th with her children at her side after fighting a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Jane was born in Scotland, Georgia on September 11, 1941. She was the daughter of Lee Roy and Allie Mae McDonald. Jane attended McRae-Helena High School, graduated from Middle Georgia College, and worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta, GA. She later married Robert Bowling and was devoted to raising her three children.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Don. She is survived by son Stephen Bowling of Chandler, AZ, daughter Emily Bowling of San Diego, CA, and daughter-in-law Pamela Barrett of Chandler, AZ. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Alexander of Jekyll Island, GA, her sister Jacquelyn Roberts of Gainesville, GA, her brother, Bob McDonald of Scotland, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
A 4:00PM memorial service will be held December 26th at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, AZ. A private ceremony for her interment with her son Don will be held in Roswell, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center in memory of Jane M. Bowling are requested. Donations can be made online or mailed to the address below.
