Jani Ione Truan Botwinis, age 73, joined her family and friends in heaven on September 2, 2018 at Ironwood Banner Hospital, Queen Creek, Arizona. Born in Long Beach, California on June 22, 1945. She moved to Reno, Nevada as a young child with her Mother Irene and younger Sister Pauline. Growing up, her relationship with God, school and friends were very important to her. Graduating with Honors from Reno High School in 1963, she learned how to balance her responsibilities and social time early on. Then becoming a wife and mother shortly after graduating, she continued to rise to the occasion. A strong, capable and determined woman, she gave birth to two beautiful girls, Carolyn and Yvette in '64 and '66. They were the light of her life. Everything she did was for them. Working two jobs when times were tough just to ensure they would never go without. Even as they grew up and became parents themselves, she was there to support, to teach and to guide them through life as best she could. She was also there to support and encourage her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, co-workers and friends. Especially her lifelong childhood friends Denise and Sharon. They are her soul sisters, her family, her best friends. As a wife she was the rock. Faithful, loving, caring and most importantly for any marriage, she was forgiving. She loved the times Tony shared with her on vacation. Walking the ocean, heading up to northern Arizona and Sedona, going to or watching Nascar on T.V. and hanging out with family. She is the love of his life spending close to 38 years of blessed time together. Becoming a great grandmother was the happiest time of her life. As the family grew so did her pride and joy. She loved every single one of us with all her heart. We all miss hearing her say those words and the sound of her laughter, the sight of her smile, the feeling of a warm hug and the excitement to see each other. She was a great listener, compassionate and honest. She would never hesitate to let you know what she thought. Bold yet respectful, she was one tough lady! Her life will continue to be celebrated by her husband, two daughters, seven grand children, twelve great-grandchildren, five brother and sister in-laws, seven nieces and nephews, many co-workers that became friends and friends that became family. The impact that she had will continue on as we cherish the memories we made and the wonderful moments shared. Rest easy Jani and God bless! The service will be held Sunday September 30, 2018 from 2-6pm at Johnson Ranch, 31010 North Johnson Ranch Blvd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85143
