Jerry was preceded in death by Dixie, his wife of 65 years, and is survived by four children: Brad, Strongsville, OH; Theresa (Dan) Hering, Bloomington Il; Roger (Mitsi), Chandler, AZ; Lois (Mitch) Moncel, Maricopa, AZ, and five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grand-child and one on the way.
Jerry was also preceded in death by his two brothers Johnnie and Danny, by his three sisters Karin, Jeannie and Joanne, and daughter-in-law Chris Hemingway (Brad).
Jerry was born on October 7, 1936 in Hinckley, Illinois.
Jerry earned a degree in agriculture at the University of Illinois, spent his early career at the Howard Kauffman Turkey Farm (Waterman, Illinois) and the remaining years as the General Manager of the Iroquois Egg Farm (Donovan, Illinois).
Jerry and Dixie retired to Citrus Gardens in Mesa, AZ and most recently at Clarendale of Chandler.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to a homeless shelter of your choosing.
