J.C. graduated from Tahoe Truckee High School and later received a B.S. Sociology from Idaho State University. He married Dianne Roberson on November 18, 1972 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
J.C. served in the U.S. Army and had a career in Management and Retail Sales, working for Servicemaster, Family Christian Bookstore, and Barnes and Noble. He had a passion for reading and fly fishing; and was a member of Arizona Veterans Fly Fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Roberson and his cat, Margot; brother, Gavin J. Roberson; nephew, Jeff Roberson; Niece, Tammy Woof (Kevin); sister-in-law, Jenny Loving; brother-in-law, Greg Loving; many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for J.C. will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Dayspring United Methodist Church: 1365 E Elliot Road, Tempe, AZ 85284. Following the service, all are welcome to attend a luncheon reception in honor of J.C.
