Kerry W. Hurst, 80, of San Tan Valley, Arizona passed away on September 7, 2022. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 23, 1941. He was married to Marilyn D. Hurst on June 12, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kerry and Marilyn made their home in Flagstaff, Arizona where they raised a family and loved their community for over 51 years before having to leave their beloved Mountain town. Kerry worked for Standard Oil, and later owned Hurst Chevron before purchasing Hurst Firestone & AutoCare. Kerry was an avid golfer, and had a passion for bowling, and hunting.
Kerry was survived by his spouse Marilyn Hurst (who passed on March 20, 2023); is currently survived by his children, Bob Hurst (Tina), and Dawn Stalker (Jim); grandchildren Jessica (Kyle), Brandon, Tami (Jake) Courtney, Taylor (Josh); great grandchildren Ava, Paxton, Olivia, and Charlotte.
There will be a joint Celebration of Life held for Kerry and Marilyn on July 22, 2023, at 1 pm at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Flagstaff, Arizona.
