Larry, my deepest sympathy to you, Tracey, Travis, and Troy.  La Joy was such a sweet, lovely person, and I loved her.

My heart is sad for my friend Tracey and her father.  May God be with them to offer solace and peace of mind.

I am so sorry that my good friend Lajoy has passed away, I really missed her since she moved to Arizona and we moved to Florida,we had some very good lunch's together, and of course went shopping,we had a nice relationship together,lots of talking, she was such a lovely quiet person, our condolesences to you Larry,Tracey,Travis and Troy, you are all in our thoughts and prayers,Betty & Al Godfrey,Summerfield, Florida

     To my beloved Friend & Neice, LaJoy.  The two of us being from a small town of Star, Texas----it is fitting to say there's a STAR shinning brighter over Texas.  I will miss our long conversation on the phone most always ending with "guess I,m running out of spit for now" talk later.  You were my source of family information just like my Sister, your Mother.  We will miss you LaJoy, but you will forever  be in our Hearts.  Aunt Louise & Uncle Don.

It seems like just yesterday, LaJoy,
LaRoy, Lester and Me were playing in 
the fields around Star.We would attend
church in the wooden Tabernacle with a 
dirt floor,no ceiling and irredescent
lights hanging from the rafters with bugs flying all around.Your journey 
has ended and we will join you in the mansion God has prepared for Us.

Sissy was such a wonderful, kind and gentle woman.   Mom and I will remember with fondness the neck scarfs she used to make and gave to us, the times we all played cards together, and just enjoyed each others company.  She will be greatly missed.  May God be with you all through these very trying times.  Our prayers are with all of you.

I'm sorry to hear of LaJoy's passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It has been a blessing to have known LaJoy, the dear lady from Texas.  She was a source of joy to our daughters during their growing up years.  She wrote cheery, encouraging letters from Michigan and later from Arizona.  It was a happy occasion to see her at the Palmer Farm or at Hobbs Family reunions or even on a few occasions when she and Larry stopped in Dalton on their way back west.  She was well named LaJoy for she truly spread JOY.  May her family find comfort in "the God of all comfort" at this sad time.
