I just learned about Larry's passing from Lisa O'Connor. I am so saddened about this.  Larry was so full of life and his life ended too soon.  I am grateful to him for the job he gave me.  He took me all over the country on Air Force Base audits.  We worked hard and I learned a lot from him.  Somehow though he always found time to stop and smell the roses.  We took breaks, went sight seeing and played Pac Man.  Whenever we got done eating he would say "Where do you all want to go for lunch or dinner"?  Today I am a successful CPA and I attribute much of this to my time spent with Larry.  My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.  I thank God for his creation of such a wonderful person and the time I got to spend with him.

 It has been a long time since I have seen Larry.  I have thought about him on and off over the years and wondered where he was.  In 1984 we  traveled to Chicopee Massachusetts to Westover Air Force Base... One of several Air Force audits that we worked.  My brother's girlfriend at the time MaryKay  worked for Larry. She asked him if I could help out and go along on these trips.  One of them being in Chicopee Massachusetts  at  Westover Air Force Base. Larry knew that I was interested in going to New York City and it was a dream of mine.  So on our free time we took a train into New York City  to spend the day.  I was interested in going to the Empire State building, but Larry suggested that we go to the top of the World Trade Center.  He took Mary Kay and I to the World Trade Center and we journied to the top  snapping pictures along the way. Little did I know at the time what significance this would become later. I am so happy that he chose the World Trade Center.  Larry was a very thoughtful and caring person   And was good to his employees.  Two days ago was the 15th year anniversary since 9-11.  I once again thought of Larry and this time decided I would Google his name and found this obituary.  I looked at the picture and decided yes indeed this was him.  I'm saddened to see that he has passed, but happy  for my memories and trips with him and Mary Kay to these various Air Force audits.  RIP Larry  and thank you for including me on your trips  with you and Mary Kay.  I have many happy memories from them.

Michaels tribute at the celebration was true explanation of Jims influence and affect on all that were lucky to have known him. The respect and love reflected from Jims wide assortment of friends was felt by all that attended, and Jim would have smiled at us all enjoying the margaritas while sharing stories. Prayers are with you now Debbie, Michael and Meghan. Jim continues in our memories.and thank you all for a wonderful celebration.


so sorry that I didn't get to see my cousin in many years, but we all loved him and will miss him.  My love to all the family

Larry was a good friend. We did Scouting with our sons together and with our spouses enjoyed plenty of great dinners at St. Louis' best restaurants. Oh, so many laughs and good times. We're so sad; too soon, too young, very loved.

God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.  My love to Debbie, Megan and Mike and his family.
