Laura Wolfe, 83, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2024, with her family around her. She was born to Joe and Betty Donalson. Laura loved dancing, travelling, laughing, and eating ice cream with Phil.
Laura was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother, who always put her family first and made everyone feel loved and their dreams supported. She loved volunteering, working in the public schools, doting on her many pets, reading, baking delicious desserts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Laura’s joy, curiosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many people and animals.
Laura is survived by her husband of 60 years, Philip Wolfe; her children, Scot Wolfe and wife Jia Wolfe, Jaree Wolfe, and Jennifer Wolfe and her partner Jeremy Sterling; her grandchildren, Nathan Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, and Townsend Sterling-Wolfe; and her brother, Jim Donalson, and sister Jody Lynn Scrivens.
A celebration of life will be held on July 20th, 2024, at 6pm at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save A Forgotten Equine (www.safehorses.org).
The family would like to thank all of the family and friends who have shared cherished memories of Laura over the past weeks and the staff of Hospice of the Valley and Home Instead for their compassionate care and support. Laura will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
