Margaret Elaine Preece

Flossie and Burr Hoover. She grew up on a farm and attended Michigan State Normal College.

Margaret moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she raised three daughters as a divorced single Mom. She was an avid bridge player, golfer and she loved cats. She married Seth Preece in Washington, DC while they were both working for airlines. While working and afterward they engaged in extensive travel at home and abroad. After retirement the couple moved to Stonington, Connecticut where Margaret was President of the nearby Westerly, Rhode Island Center for the Arts. Since then she and Seth have lived most of their remaining time in Sun Lakes, Arizona.

Margaret was preceded in passing by her husband Seth Preece, brother Jackson Hoover and her sister Marilyn Kliewer. She leaves her loving family of Linda, Penny and David Merrill, Martha Howard, along with five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
