

Marie Angelia Adkins, a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 20, 1942, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, Marie was a kind-hearted and thoughtful person who touched the lives of many.
Marie graduated from Masontown High School in 1960. In 1965, she moved to Riverside, California and worked for the Lily Tulip Cup Corporation, where she met her husband of 32 years, Ken. Marie also worked for Carl Karcher Enterprises, a career that spanned 30 years.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Ann (Richard) Cavazos of Loma Linda, California, and Jennifer Adkins of Tempe, Arizona. She was a proud grandmother to Jade and Kyle Cavazos of Loma Linda, California, and Emily Hernandez of Mesa, Arizona, and a great-grandmother to Hayden Cavazos of Loma Linda, California. Marie is also survived by her sister, Josie (Gary) Meyer of Chandler, Arizona, and her brother, Tom (Connie) Battaglia of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Adkins, her parents, Joseph and Sophie Battaglia, and her brother, George (Betty) Battaglia.
In her personal life, Marie enjoyed playing bingo, poker, cards, and other games with family and friends. She was a kind soul who was always available to provide support or just listen when someone needed a shoulder to lean on. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
