Maggie was a resident of Chandler, Arizona since 1992 after retiring from the city of Orange, California. She was a supervisor for Community/Planning- Building Division. Ill health forced her to retirement.
In 1949 she married Bill Edmiston and divorced in 1977. They were the parents to one son Kevin A. Edmiston and resided in Flora for many years.
Maggie was a kind, loyal, loving, and always willing to assist others. Maggie enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and collecting angels. Maggie attended Flora schools and was employed by District 35 for several years.
Maggie is survived by one son Kevin, one grandson, Robert and daughter in law Denise. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, Bill and sisters Betty and Dora. Also, surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Maggie was a member of First Christian Church Flora, Illinois. Cremated remains will be placed at Elmwood Cemetery Flora, Illinois.
